Qualifications for a Freeride on The Swimhorse
If you have have been "Injured in Service to America" (* see note below) you may qualify, and therefore can apply, for one of these recovery devices at no cost to you.
The criteria to qualify;
1 - A doctor's prescription confirming (a) the origins of the injuries and (b) that you could in fact
benefit from the use of this recovery apparatus.
2 - A picture and address of the location where the device will be used and stored.
3 - Understanding and agreement that The Swimhorse cannot be sold or given away by the
recipient. If the device can no longer be used, it must be returned or sent on to the next
person on the list of requesters.
4 - A note confirming that your financial status would discourage an outright purchase.
5 - An agreement that proper supervision will be administered at all times of use for the
protection and safety of all concerned.
6 - A random audit on occasion will be conducted by email or phone to confirm that the device
is still in the possession of the original recipient, and in regular use.
* "Injured in Service to America" includes all military personnel injured in the line of duty as well as first responders, nurses, teachers, and others. If your injury is related to trying to make a difference, you will likely fit the requirements.
If you can afford to purchase this device, please do not apply for one at no cost. There are too many wounded and disabled who cannot manage to cover such health care costs. If you still want one, and can afford it, be assured that 100% of that purchase money goes to help others through the cost of the materials required to fabricate these support frames. There are no paychecks written or percentages taken here.
